John Good designer takes first place in video competition
In August 2008 the group Marillion set a competition to create a music video for their forthcoming single Whatever is Wrong With You?
The competition was open to all film makers across the world, with the brief to create a video in any medium using the song as the backing track.
Paul Roberts, a graphic designer in our Programme Studio, took on the challenge - and won!
His winning video combines elements of 3D animation (using Carrara Studio) and live action, with digital footage shot against a blue screen and edited and composited in Final Cut.
