New Programme Concept Design

When the Almeida approached us to redesign their theatre programmes, we relished the challenge in the brief to create a bold, unique product, whilst reducing costs.

Our concept was to combine a play-bill outer cover, semi-obscuring the beautiful production photography by Nadav Kander to create tension and intrigue.

Given the playful nature of the Almeida’s half-upside-down logo, we chose to break the logo across the spine of the play-bill, allowing the theatre’s branding and cast/creative listings to be elevated without diminishing or interfering with the production image. The appearance of coloured stock is carefully printed, driving down production costs.
