UK Pantomime Awards - April 2025

As has now become tradition, we attended the UK Pantomime Awards at the fabulous annual ceremony. There was much to celebrate and applaud and it was lovely seeing the diversity and innovation among the nominees. The Awards serve as an excellent reminder that a magical panto season is a monumental collaborative effort, from magnificent creatives, directors, writers, producers and technicians to administrators, musicians and actors.

As the leading UK panto programme producer, we are delighted to play a role in the #PantoLand family and were once again sponsor of the coveted Christopher Biggins Award for Best Dame. Many congratulations to Antony Stuart-Hicks of the Colchester Mercury Theatre for the win! Needless to say, we also printed the evening’s gorgeous programme and delivered an array of other vibrant print.

Woking’s New Victoria Theatre was a terrific host venue. Guests, judges and the audience were entertained by a fantastic line-up that included young Jamie Leahey, foxy Basil Brush, award-winning Martin Cabble-Reid (AKA Kevin Cruise) and legendary Anita Harris. Panto royalty Elaine C Smith (who was also recognised with the 'Outstanding Achievement' award), Dave Benson Phillips and La Voix made for a sensational presenting trio. As you can well imagine, there were loads of laughs, many cheers and the occasional cheeky boo!
