Variety Disability Sports Awards – October 2026

We attended a truly inspirational evening, hosted by our @sohoplace friends and colleagues. The Variety Disability Sports Awards recognise outstanding achievements and contributions by disabled athletes and the unsung heroes who support them, creating environments where a disability is not an impediment.

Doctor Oscar Duke was an excellent compère, reminding that accessibility is paramount and that focusing on diversity creates healthy spaces that include everyone. The awards were so uplifting… hearts were full!

It was great to catch up with fellow performing arts supplier Nimbus Disability, who incidentally works closely with many of our clients, including MusicalCon. It was fabulous to (finally!) meet MusicalCon founders Chris Steward and Shanay Holmes, who wowed with a sensational vocal performance.
