C&W Chamber of Commerce Networking Event – September 2023

When we met with our local Chamber of Commerce in May, to rekindle our visibility and involvement with the vibrant and diverse Warwickshire business community, our chamber Engagement Manager, Gurprit, floated the idea of hosting a membership networking event at our Head Office. We were curious, if a bit undecided. We had not hosted such an event before - are our premises attractive enough, would there be sufficient interest, do we have enough to showcase?

It soon became clear that, particularly with our new digital and wide-format capability, we could indeed move forward with the event, and do so with the confidence of a first-rate products and services offering.

There was much preparation to do, from sprucing up our reception areas and courtyard, to drafting persuasive invitations and organising the catering. Thankfully, the C&W Chamber events team was very helpful and guided us throughout the process. No question was too difficult for Cheyenne, and Head of Events, Chris, was amazing.

On the day, we had dedicated ambassadors from each department on hand to answer questions, and no less than 40 attendees; our newly decorated canteen was buzzing with lively networking. Even our Direct Publicity colleagues were on hand to share their competencies! A spread of delicious refreshments greeted guests as they returned from tours around our print rooms, where they learned about the processes, equipment and our impressive green credentials. Of course, it was in-valuable to make connections, learn about fellow chamber members’ print requirements and explore how we can assist them.

Thanks to all the delegates who came along and made the event a success… we’re already working on staging a similar event specific to our arts and culture customers!
