Musical Con – October 2023

It’s back! Last year’s inaugural Musical Con was a huge success and it returned last week by popular demand. Like 2022, we were of course involved and delivered the trendy show guide, which has become somewhat of a collectors’ item among musical theatre fans.

We were unable to attend in person last year, but this year, our Communications Manager, Till, headed over to Con – as the event is now affectionately known - to check it out (thanks to Chris for the complimentary press pass!). The vibe at London’s ExCel Centre was incredible! There were amazing costumes, lots of singing and dancing, and of course thousands of fans, many of whom will have purchased show programmes and souvenir brochures produced by John Good. The elation of the fans was palpable, not least when stars took to the stage… the energy and noise levels truly soared. Musical theatre devotees were also able to participate in Q&A sessions, workshops, masterclasses, showcases and much more.

There was also a professional aspect, with an exhibitors’ hall that featured many John Good industry friends, customers and colleagues - it was fantastic to catch up with so many familiar partners!
