NODA Corporate Partnership – June 2023
“I am most grateful to the Little Theatre…It was the amateurs […], the lovers of theatre, who invited young enthusiasts like me in”, Sir Ian McKellen
Did you know that some of the UK’s most prominent actors of both stage and screen, such as Dame Judi Dench, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Blenda Blethyn, Keira Knightley, Sir Ben Kingsley and the late Sir Charlie Chaplin and Glenda Jackson were first enthralled by the magic of theatre when joining an amateur company? As a prominent supplier to the sub-sector and admirer of the amateur theatre community, earlier this year, John Good reached out to National Operatic and Dramatic Association.
Founded in the mid nineteenth century during the heyday of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, today NODA remains the UK’s leading amateur theatre membership organisation, covering eleven regions and providing support to thespians’ clubs and companies by way of insurance, training ranging from stage combat to mask-making, safeguarding guidance, a useful services directory, competitions and much more.
Our Communications Manager, Till and Rob, NODA’s Marketing and Publishing Manager, soon realised there were synergies with John Good products and services with cross-over potential that could benefit the membership. As such, John Good has become a Gold Corporate Partner and also NODA’s preferred printer. Members will receive NODA Today magazine printed by John Good and delivered by JGMailing. Further, we’ll produce attractive banners for display at NODA events and the glamorous programme for September’s annual Presidential Gala.
While we can, of course, supply NODA members with the printing of programmes, flyers, banners and posters, we feel there is a particular scope for elevating NODA member show programmes with content from our vast Editorial Services. We look forward to continued engagement with NODA and the prospect of a fruitful partnership!
