UK Theatre Awards – October 2023

One of the most exciting events in our calendar, is the UK Theatre Awards. As the leading UK programme and print supplier to regional theatre, we’re delighted to attend the glamorous event each year. We get a bit of VIP treatment too, as we’re among the event sponsors.

The awards ceremony celebrates the best of British theatre, from creatives (on and off stage) and administrators, to leaders and producers, who give the #TheatreFamily so much to safeguard and be proud of. This year, the event was hosted by brilliant Zoe Birkett, and masterful Mark Gatiss was recognised with the ‘Outstanding Contribution to British Theatre Award’. Secretary of State for Culture Lucy Frazer’s speech was warmly received. It was excellent to greet colleagues, friends and customers.

Our delegation flew the John Good flag with enthusiasm; it was lovely to share a table with National Youth Theatre! We certainly ate and drank well and London’s historic Guildhall looked glorious; sorry, no prize for correctly guessing who printed the deluxe programme!
