Joining the BPIF at Parliament – July 2024
Our Managing Director attended the Annual Print Reception at Parliament with British Printing Industries Federation colleagues, alongside the federation’s Sustainability Symposium. This was a full and stimulating day of exchanging ideas, networking and, of course, discussing policy, process improvements and the future.
Leadership through the procedural lens, harnessing skills, effective training and environmental compliance were at the top of the agenda. The forum served as a rewarding opportunity for the industry to share challenges and respective solutions at an executive level. Members of Parliament were reminded of the reach and immense contribution of the print industry, particularly vis-à-vis the new government’s fiscal and environmental ambitions. The BPIF Chair outlined collective opportunities that lie ahead, from innovation and upskilling to automation and sustainability.
As ever, we are grateful to the BPIF for affording the industry a unified voice that lobbies on our behalf. We were particularly delighted that our own new MP was among those assembled, and we look forward to engaging locally and representing our dynamic industry.
Though sans ermine, it turns out sipping bubbly on the House of Lord’s terrace overlooking the Thames on a bright summer’s day is quite invigorating!
