Joining Five Membership Organisations – July 2024
While we are, of course, well known amongst the theatre community, our many products and services are also attractive to other subsectors of the Arts and Heritage.
Our Chair and Communications Manager have had many lively discussions about market strategy and it became apparent that making a concerted effort to engage with specific groups whilst increasing awareness would be a journey worth taking. Given our success with organisations like UK Theatre and National Operatic Dramatic Association, it was decided that we would pursue a similar approach with membership organisations to help us broaden our brand recognition.
Following considerable research, review of costs and potential, we’re delighted to have joined five exciting membership organisations who have all made us feel welcome and helped us on-boarding our membership.
The Arts Marketing Association boasts thousands of arts marketing professional members who turn to the organisation for upskilling, guidance, inspiration, networking, webinars, meet-ups, best-practice and supplier recommendations. The enthusiastic AMA team have already embraced our commitment to offering budget-friendly solutions to its members.
The small but mighty British Arts Festivals Association team not only connect members with each other but also provide valuable resources, updates and sector-specific data. Arts festivals champion creativity and are also wonderful community occasions for all ages – what’s not to like?
Museums and galleries are attractions that those who care about the arts, as we do, naturally gravitate towards. The Museums Association advocates and campaigns for museums, lending the sector a voice, whilst supporting members with legislation, policy and advice.
While we already work with a number of the UK’s greatest and most innovative orchestras, the orchestral landscape is vast and rich. Joining the The Association of British Orchestras who champion, connect and develop orchestral music organisations, will afford us and their members beneficial opportunities.
History and heritage are inseparable from the Arts. Representing, advising and supporting over 1,000 stately homes, castles and gardens, Historic Houses is a logical fit for our products and services. We are also well placed to play a role in the members’ collective trajectory toward environmentally conscious suppliers.
We look forward to shaping the potential of our new affiliations and can’t wait to engage with, service and learn from the members of these five fantastic organisations! We are, as ever, #HereToHelp.
